Salon Policies

Salon Tropics is dedicated to creating a professional, relaxing, and results-driven experience for every guest.
 

These policies are designed to protect your time, your skin health, and your investment in your glow.

Outside Products

To ensure the safety of our equipment and consistency of your results, outside tanning lotions and products are not permitted for use inside the salon.


All clients must use Salon Tropics approved lotions during UV sessions.


Approved products meet salon safety standards and are specially formulated to enhance and extend your color.

UV Tanning Guidelines

  • Louisiana law requires a minimum of 24 hours between UV tanning sessions.
     

  • A valid photo ID is required for all tanning services.
     

  • All first-time clients will complete a brief skin-type and waiver form prior to their first session.
     

  • We reserve the right to refuse UV tanning services if recent exposure or skin irritation is observed.

Spray and Spa Appointments

Custom Spray Tans and Spa Services are strongly suggested by appointment to ensure availability and proper setup.


Walk-ins are welcome for UV tanning and the VersaSpa Pro booth, except during VIP Hours (8–9 PM).


Please arrive with clean, product-free skin and avoid lotions, perfumes, or deodorants prior to spray tanning.


If you must reschedule, please provide notice as soon as possible so your appointment time can be reopened to other clients.
 

Membership Terms

  • All memberships include a one-time $25 enrollment fee.
     

  • 100% of the enrollment fee is added back to your account as product credit.
     

    • Glow Pass members: may use this credit toward samples and minis only.
       

    • All other memberships: may use this credit toward sun, spray, or spa services.
       

    • The $25 credit cannot be used toward membership drafts or renewal fees.
       

  • Memberships renew automatically each month.
     

  • 30 days’ written notice is required prior to your next draft date to cancel.
     

  • Memberships are non-transferable and valid only at the Jones Creek location.

Product Credits

  • Product credits are issued monthly and do not roll over to the following month.
     

  • Credits may be used toward qualifying products or services, depending on your membership level.
     

  • A minimum purchase of $20 over the product credit amount is required at checkout.
     

  • Credits cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred, or applied to membership fees.
     

  • Promotional or bonus credits may carry their own expiration terms, as noted during issue.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • 24-Hour Happiness Guarantee: If you’re unhappy with your spray tan results, please return to the salon within 24 hours of your appointment so our team can assess your tan in person. Qualifying clients may receive a complimentary respray or a service credit. (Photos are not accepted for evaluation.)
     

  • No Refunds on Services: All services are non-refundable, except in cases that fall under the 24-Hour Happiness Guarantee.
     

  • Product Sales Are Final: Once a product leaves the front counter, there are no refunds or exchanges — no exceptions.
    Clients with sensitive skin are encouraged to try a sample before purchasing full-size products.
     

  • Prepaid Packages & Memberships: These may be canceled with proper notice but are not refundable once activated or drafted.

Minors and Parental Consent

  • Louisiana law prohibits UV tanning for individuals under 18 years old, no exceptions.
     

  • Minors may receive spa and spray services with parental consent.
     

  • A parent or legal guardian must be present during the first visit to review and sign the consent form in person before any service can be performed.

Salon Etiquette

We want every visit to feel relaxed and enjoyable for all guests.

 

Please help us maintain a calm, professional atmosphere by following a few simple guidelines:

  • Before checking in for your session, please use the restroom. Once we set the bed, we cannot extend the delay timer beyond 5 minutes.
     

  • Keep music volume low; use earphones or earbuds when listening to personal devices.
     

  • Please avoid loud phone conversations, we can hear them while you’re tanning. 
     

  • Please do not walk into the salon talking on the phone. We cannot help you until you end your phone call. 
     

  • There are restrooms located at the back of the salon for guest use. Please do not use the restroom in our trash cans or leave sanitary napkins and tampons on our floor.
     

  • There are trash bins located at the front of each hall, please throw away your trash on your way out.
     

  • Late arrivals may result in a no-show fee and will need to be rescheduled.
     

  • No-shows will be charged a no-show fee.
     

  • All sessions must end by closing time unless otherwise approved by staff.
    (Example: If we close at 8 PM and you start your session at 7:50 PM, your session may be shortened.)

Salon Tropics reserves the right to update, modify, or change policies at any time without prior notice.


The most current version of all policies will always be available in the salon.


By receiving services or purchasing products at Salon Tropics, guests agree to all current salon policies and terms.
